What you need

A free Rockstar Games account and the Rockstar Games Launcher on a Windows PC.

Step 1Make a free Rockstar Games accountAlready done? Skip this.

Install the launcher first
Download it from www.rockstargames.com/downloads. Its sign-in screen lets you create an account.
Fill in the form and confirm your email
Email, date of birth, country (Thailand), a nickname and a password.

Step 2Activate your key

Open Redeem Code
In the launcher, click your avatar (top right) and choose Redeem Code.
Enter the key and press Check
Check the account name shown — the key goes to whoever is signed in.
Tick the box and press Redeem
The game appears under Games; install it from there.

Good to know

A key works once, on the account you are signed in to when you activate it, and cannot be moved to another account afterwards. Check whose account is open first.
Paste the key rather than typing it — 0 and O, 1 and I are easy to mix up.
