The Darkness

Happy 21st birthday, Jackie On his 21st birthday, Jackie Estacado, a hitman for the Franchetti crime family, finds an ancient force called the Darkness awakening inside him, just as his "Uncle" Paulie, who runs the family, turns on him. Based on the Top Cow comic, The Darkness is a first-person shooter by Starbreeze Studios, published by 2K Games. Fight with guns and with the Darkness itself: demon arms that strike and devour, a creeping tentacle you send ahead of you, and Darklings, small creatures you summon to fight for you. The Darkness is strongest in the shadows, so shoot out the lights. It also had online multiplayer; we haven't checked whether anyone still plays it. This copy is pre-owned (Amazon Renewed), the US release (NTSC). • The disc is listed as region-free (World), so it should play on Asian Xbox 360 consoles too. • Backward compatible: it also plays on Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
