The Darkness II: Limited Edition

The Darkness returns Two years after the first game, Jackie Estacado is the don of a New York crime family, and the Darkness he had locked away comes back. The Darkness II is a first-person shooter by Digital Extremes, published by 2K Games, drawn in a comic-book style. It's built around "quad-wielding": a gun in each hand and a demon arm on each side, to slash, grab enemies and objects, and throw them. As in the first game, the Darkness is strongest in the dark. Vendettas, a separate co-op campaign, can be played online with others; we haven't checked whether anyone still plays it. The Limited Edition is the same game; its box came with codes for bonus content: an extra outfit for your Darkling, two in-game abilities, and the digital comics The Darkness: Origins, Volumes 1 and 2. This copy is pre-owned, so expect those codes to be used or missing. This copy is pre-owned (the seller graded it Used – Very Good), the US release (NTSC). • The disc is listed as region-free (World), so it should play on Asian Xbox 360 consoles too. • Backward compatible: it also plays on Xbox One and Xbox Series X. Insert the disc and the console downloads the game; keep the disc in the drive to play. Not on Series S, which has no disc drive.
